Shop Harold House in Healdsburg: The Kitchen
Second to the backyard and garden the thing I love most and I think is unique about Harold House is the kitchen. It has the details (from the custom copper hood to the open shelving and subtle textured counters and backsplash) that bring warmth and feeling to a space where we personally spend a lot of time, and hope our guests do too. It was definitely one of my favorite rooms to shop for and I wanted to make sure with our guests staying for months at a time that they were equipped with everything they needed to put on some tunes, open a bottle of wine and enjoy their meals (at least that’s how we do it!). Along with the functional items (and an array of coffee options whether you’re a pour-over or Nespresso kind of person) I stocked a lot of the accessories like the cheese board, trivets and bottle opener from my favorite Shoppe Amber Interiors. Even though some may only use these decorative items for pictures and staging I like to keep them incorporated and use them in my space all the time. It’s obviously not always in styled shape, as hard as I may try.
